For every student, this summer marks a critical moment on their path to academic success. Every school system in the United States was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.We have heard from so many concerned parents that their students have fallen into bad habits like a low attention rate, playing video games for hours, not paying attention in class, not doing homework and feeling very discouraged. Parents have also noticed their children’s test scores have gradually declined and they are worried about their future.
An even severe problem for students this fall is that, schools do not expect to spend sufficient time to help their students catch up on nearly 1.5 years of curriculum materials that they have missed. Schools simply don’t have time to do so. The public school system is simply not equipped to help students catch up on materials missed and finish the next year’s curriculum. More and more parents realize that they can’t rely on public schools to help their children receive the quality education they need. They know they need to look outside of school to help their children excel.
The good news is, Boston is now paying more attention to the quality of Education. Tracy Litthcut, director of the Faith Based Initiatives from the Boston Mayor’s Office, highly praised the efforts ASC has taken, “The Academic Student Center, better known as ASC, has a proven track record of working with Asian students that have the opportunity to take their academic careers to higher levels… their students have attended some of Boston and Massachusetts’s better academic environments.”
ASC A+ is fully prepared! We are are accepting both online and in person learning experiences for all summer courses! Students can now choose either option to learn with the ASC A+ Program this summer. Students in the public education system are under tremendous pressure and don’t have the skills they need to succeed. From subject knowledge to study skills to helping students with the ISEE/SSAT or SAT and their college applications, the ASC A+ program is here to help students excel in their academic experience.

Our trained ISEE/SSAT teachers show students how to apply strategies proven to increase their test scores. The in-class reviews keeps students focused while the materials and practice exams improve their understanding of the most important skills, concepts, and test-taking strategies. The overall experience in the A+ ISEE/SSAT Test Prep program gives every student the confidence they need to be in that top 10!
Mastering Math and English is key to academic success. Students develop a strong foundation of learning that carries over into life, both inside and outside the classroom. The A+ Math and English Enrichment curriculum meets and exceeds Massachusetts state standards so that students excel not only at ASC but also in school. Every student is placed in the appropriate class level determined by a subject pre-test and an English speaking evaluation.
July and August class is now open for registration!

When taking the final test I kept remembering the strategies that I was taught on the verbal and math sections, especially when I was stuck on a few problems. When I got the scores back… I couldn’t believe it- I got a 1600! An increase of over 300 points! Now I feel totally prepared for SAT.—Issac
ASC’s A+ program is truly a great way to make a difference. My daughter came to US in her 5th grade, and her urgent problem was English.
