Becoming an Volunteer With Us in the Summer

The A+ Summer Program provides a unique learning opportunity for high school students to engage in the community while perfecting their leadership and communication skills.

In the summer, A+ offers a full day enrichment program for children from 1st to 8th grade. The children have academic classes in the morning and go to various activities in the afternoon, both academic and fun.

Volunteers are needed to assist our team leaders in managing the groups, helping the children with their homework, and supervising them during outdoor activities and field trips.

Indoor activities include STEM Lab, Writing Lab, Arts & Crafts, Movie Screening, Learning Games and more.

Outdoor activities include basketball, field trips, such as MFA, Museum of Science, The Freedom Trail, Franklin Zoo and more!

• Session I: July 2 – July 23, no class on July 4
• Session II: July 30 – August 17
• Monday to Friday, 11:30 or 12:30 – 5 pm
